The APMP Western Chapter serves all affiliated members in Hawaiʻi, California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico with a rich mix of professional development and social programs for all business capture and proposal development professionals:

• Monthly webinars on a variety of professional development topics
• Mentorship program for professional development (mentors, mentees, and students)
• A professional development fund to help affiliated members achieve their goals
• A free job bank for employers
• Monthly virtual coffee meetings
• Local face-to-face events
• The annual APMP Western Region Conference, to be held next at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on October 3 and 4, 2024

Established on July 15, 2021, the APMP Western Chapter is a merger of the APMP Valley of the Sun Chapter (APMP Chapter No.1, chartered 1991) and the APMP California Chapter, itself a merger of the Northern California Chapter (formerly the APMP Golden Gate chapter, APMP Chapter No. 6, 1994) and Southern California Chapter (APMP Chapter No. 10, 1996).
